Where exactly do you live?

In the small town of Arcata, CA in Humboldt County, we are in northern California (real northern California not middle of the state SF). Here is a map so you get an idea

How long have you and Patrick been dating?

We officially became a couple on July 11, 2008 so we have been together for just under two years!

What made you decide to start a blog?

Patrick was working a job where he would be gone for weeks at a time and I was out of work and all of my friends were out of town for the summer so I was lonely (very, very lonely) I stumbled upon this little blog by the name of This Young House (of course it is now called Young House Love) but I became obsessed with it and found myself reading other blogs, it was the closest thing to human contact that I had in this tiny town. After a couple of months of reading I decided to start blogging myself. Actually I already had a blog on blogger but I had only posted one things months before so I was starting fresh with wordpress. I have struggled to find time to blog regularly because I am a busy bee with work and school and various other things I find myself engaged in.
